Granular carbide (calcium carbide CaC2) is a ready substrate for the production of a strongly repellent acetylene. In order for its action to be effective, at the end of the day, you should gently trample all available molehills evenly, in the morning instead of carefully scooping up the soil from fresh mounds, taking care not to cover the corridors. For each corridor prepared in this way, add the amount of the preparation recommended by the manufacturer, and sprinkle it all over it very gently. The preparation activates under the influence of moisture in the soil, releasing strongly deterrent acetylene, which is spontaneously distributed in the corridors of the molehill.
